Greg Majewski is the owner and lead forecaster of North Georgia Majestic Weather LLC and a seasoned meteorologist with deep experience in the Southeast. He began his meteorology career in Atlanta in 1997 with The Weather Channel Radio network and later moved into broadcast television as weekend and then morning meteorologist at WJHG-TV in Panama City, Florida (2002–2005).
Returning to Atlanta, Greg served as staff meteorologist and lead graphics creator at WGCL-TV from 2005–2009 and has freelanced across the Birmingham, Chattanooga, Columbus and Atlanta markets, including current freelance work with WAGA-TV (Fox 5 Atlanta). He also served as morning meteorologist at WTVM in Columbus from 2013–2016.
A retired Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel, Greg is a veteran of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, with five deployments between 2003 and 2022. His military honors include the Bronze Star (with one oak leaf cluster), the Meritorious Service Medal (with two oak leaf clusters) and the Army Commendation Medal (with three oak leaf clusters). Greg holds the American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval and is a member of both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association.
He has lived in Braselton, Georgia for twenty years, and is married to his wife Julie of 29 years. They have two daughters, Madelyn and Ashley.
